TikTok's Parent ByteDance to Cut India Workforce, Unsure of Comeback After Permanent App Ban

ByteDance in the memo wrote that the company had hoped for a better situation following the TikTok ban in India in June 2020. "We don't know when we will make a comeback in India," the company wrote to its India employees.
